Why.....Are There Snaps on the Pocket of Your Jeans?

My week of why....continues! There are snaps on our jeans and they snap into NOTHING!!! So, why are they there?!!! When Levi Strauss first released their jeans, it was common for the seams of the pants to tear due to stress by the wearer, originally designed for mostly workmen and coal miners. These studs, aka rivets, were added to design for durability of your jeans and longevity! Pretty wild, right? And that's, why!
