This Is How Your Child Can Receive a Letter Postmarked from the North Pole

Thanks to the USPS 'Greetings from the North Pole Post Office' program, your child can receive a letter from Santa straight from the North Pole.

As a parent, you're going to have to take a couple of extra steps...this is what the USPS is suggestion on the best way to get that letter with the North Pole postmark....follow these instructions.:

  • Have your child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.
  • When your child isn’t around, open the letter and add your personalized response from Santa, with the USPS reminding parents to highlight their child's accomplishments over the past year.
  • Insert the response letter into an envelope and address it to the child and add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE to the envelope.
  • Place the complete envelope into a larger envelope with appropriate postage and address it to: North Pole Postmark, Postmaster, 4141 Postmark Drive, Anchorage, AK 99530-9998

Now if you want to guarantee your kid gets their Santa letter in time for the holidays, make sure it gets to Anchorage no later than December 13th.

A few steps to take, but well worth it!!!
