A group of nurses at a New Jersey hospital find themselves in some serious trouble after they gave patients Benadryl to make them fall asleep, falsified medical records and retaliated against a longtime nurse who spoke up about the misconduct.
Patricia R. Moran was a nurse for more than 30 years and filed a lawsuit because she was “subjected to immediate retaliation after she reported the employees who drugged the patients.
She says her career was destroyed and her reputation has been tarnished, all because she reported clear violations of hospital policy and patient safety issues.
No word if the nurses involved were reprimanded.
