Meet Elsa, the little sweetie who was just born at a reptile rescue in Australia. She’s being cared for by the zookeepers there because her mother couldn’t. By the way, the koala isn't actually a bear, it's a marsupial, it's closest relative is the wombat. (What a terrible name--couldn't the official animal name-ers have come up with something a little more flattering?) So, all this so I can tell you a joke I just learned:
Question: Why isn't the the koala a real bear? Answer: Because he doesn't have the right koalifications.
