We Now Know How Squirrels Find the Nuts They've Hidden

Black walnuts begin to show up in the oddest places this time of year. We have found them hidden in the clothespin basket, behind the cushions on our porch furniture, and in planters, as shown in this picture, taken on our front porch. 

This video is actually very interesting and answers the question of how they find them again. (I always wondered IF they found them again.) Evidently, they do. 

I'm going to recommend Charlotte watch this video, because she still can't locate about six of the plastic Easter eggs she hid in the house years ago. Maybe she can learn something from the squirrels.
