A Guy Is 3-D Printing His Own Lamborghini Aventador

SWITZERLAND-AUTO-SHOW

If you can't afford to BUY a Lamborghini, I guess you could always try to bootleg one?

There's a physicist named Sterling Backus in Colorado, and he's been working with his son to 3-D PRINT their own, working Lamborghini Aventador. It's a heck of a project, but they DO have the body and quite a bit of the rest of it done.

So far, they've spent $20,000, which is a lot . . . but since a real one starts at $335,000, that's quite a discount.

(You can see some pictures of the car so far herehere, and here.)
