Famous Manhattan Pizza Place Coming To The Hudson Valley!

Patsy Lancieri opened one of the first pizzerias 80 years ago and many believe he is also the inventor of the thin crust pizza that has become synonymous with New York City. Lancieri was also the first to start selling his pies by the slice. Their first location in Harlem has become a pizza haven where people from all over the world line up around the block to taste some of the world's best pizza.

Patsy's is finally opening up their first stand-alone pizzeria outside of the boroughs and it's going to be right here in our backyard! Patsy's Pizzeria of Wappingers Falls registered with the State of New York on May 22 and according to Village officials, Patsy's will be opening up at 2657 East Main Street. The store was previously occupied by an antique shop. Officials say the new Patsy's Pizzeria is already built out and is expected to open within the next two months.

This is all very exciting but there are already two other pizzeria's in Wappingers, did we really need another?
