Having Nice Weather Puts 87% of Us in a Better Mood

Are you normally in a better mood when the weather's nice? A new survey asked over 4,000 people . . . and 87% said that YES, good weather helps.

46% said it improves their mood "a great deal," and 41% said it helps "somewhat."  8% said it doesn't make a huge difference . . . 2% said not at all . . . and 3% weren't sure.

Women were more likely than men to say good weather makes them happy . . . 91%, compared to 82% of men. And older people were also more likely to say it makes a difference.

A separate study also just came out that looked at spring weather, and which CITIES enjoy springtime the most. And there was a four-way tie for first . . .

93% of people in Philadelphia, Dallas, Denver, and Chicago said they generally enjoy the weather this time of year.

The rest of the top ten are Boston, 92% . . . D.C., 92% . . . San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, 92% . . . Phoenix, 91% . . . Orlando/Daytona Beach, 91% . . . and seven cities tied for 10th with 90%: L.A., Miami, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seattle, New York, and Cleveland.
