"Captain Marvel" star Brie Larson is filming her new Netflix original movie "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" in the area according to Hudson Valley Film Commissioner Laurent Rejto. The Oscar winning actress was in Fishkill Tuesday as the production filmed at the Red Line Diner. It's one of many projects in progress in the region.
From the Poughkeepsie Journal:
Red Line Diner office manager Roseanne Vanikiotis said management had signed paperwork that they wouldn’t discuss the details of the project, and could not say which movie had filmed at the location. But, all went well Tuesday, according to night manager Kathy Malamibou, who said filming for the undisclosed project lasted nearly 12 hours. The shoot was expected to include both interior and exterior shots.
Larson's film isn't the only project filming in the Hudson Valley, Mark Ruffalo's HBO series "I Know This Much Is True" is filming in Dutchess and Ulster counties, "Trick" starring Dermot Mulroney began filming in the Umbra of Newburgh soundstage, and "Classified Killer" is set to film in Saugerties until the end of April.
