Store Clerk Stops a Robbery with a Banana

You're probably not cut out for a life of crime if you can be defeated by a piece of fruit.

On Saturday night, a guy walked into a convenience store in Ontario, Canada and demanded money.

As far as we know, he didn't have a weapon. So when he approached the register, the clerk grabbed the first weapon HE could to fight off the robber.

And that happened to be . . . one of those BANANAS that every convenience store has on sale but literally no one ever buys.

Anyway, the clerk HIT the guy with the banana, and apparently, that was enough to scare him off . . . because the guy ran away empty-handed.

The cops are trying to track him down.
