Michelle and I have so much fun and derive so much satisfaction from helping the Dutchess County SPCA find homes for some of our furry friends here in the Hudson Valley. As you know, almost every Thursday morning at 8:40 Chris Bender from the shelter brings one of his special guests over for a meet and greet with us and to meet, via Facebook Live, all of you! Countless dogs are happy in their new homes, thanks to your big, soft, generous hearts.
Well, today, January 26, the DCSPCA is waiving all adoption fees to encourage some more of you to welcome a new member to your family. Not only is this a big saving for you, it is a very generous gesture by the Dutchess County SPCA who work tirelessly on behalf of cats and dogs in need of placement.
I don't remember the name of the little guy in the picture above, but he was one of our countless favorites (ha ha ha), and is being loved by an area family even as we speak.
