NORAD Will Still Track Santa Claus If There's a Government Shutdown
There's a chance we'll have a government shutdown in the next few days, and it could go through Christmas.
And while this might not be the MOST important thing to worry about, you might be wondering: Will NORAD still do its Santa Tracker if the government is shut down?
The answer is . . . yes. NORAD is part of the Defense Department budget, which won't be affected by the shutdown . . . plus the Santa Tracker is really cheap to run, since it's mostly funded by corporate sponsors and staffed by volunteers.
