Ribbon-Cutting Celebration in Pleasant Valley!

A you may recall, Michelle and I did a live broadcast this past Friday to kick off the Grand Re-Opening Celebration at the McDonald's on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley after a complete renovation.  So many people turned out!  We were delighted!

Saturday morning I returned to Pleasant Valley to be part of the official ribbon cutting.

After the ribbon-cutting, owner, David Opstad, presented donation checks to the Pleasant Valley Free Library, and the Pleasant Valley Fire Department.  (You can spot Dave in the picture above--the tall man in the back in the middle).  Thank you, Dave, for your generosity and "give back to the community" spirit and commitment!

Members of the Pleasant Valley Fire Department also had a table with information and gifts for the children--all part of Fire Prevention Week.  (Thank you for the hat. :)  )

Thank you to Dave Opstad and the entire staff, some pictured here, for their hospitality Saturday and this past Friday morning during our broadcast, and for their consistently top notch service to everyone who comes in the door.  It is easy to see, from all these friendly faces, why the McDonald's in Pleasant Valley is a favorite gathering spot for the local community.
