Sometimes I get nostalgic for one of my old cars. It happens every Summer. Today I was thinking about my 1953 Pontiac station wagon, complete with (faux) wood on the sides. It was in great original condition, rode wonderfully, and the light-up hood ornament still worked! I kept it a few years, won a ribbon at a car show, and even brought it out for some radio appearances. But the time came to pass it on to another loving owner. A gentleman in New Jersey who sells surf boards bought it. Conjures a picture from the cover of a Beach Boys album doesn't it? Anyway, here are a couple more pictures.
If you're at a car show in the Hudson Valley this weekend and you happen to see it there, please take a picture for me.
