It's National Hot Dog Day. According to a recent survey, America's favorite toppings are ketchup at #1 followed by chili, mustard, cheese, relish, onions, sauerkraut, mayo, jalapeños, and coleslaw.  My favorite is a deep fried hot dog “all the way” which is a huge New Jersey thing! A guy in Virginia called the cops on Monday . . . after he got fouled in a pickup basketball game. The cops came, but the guy wound up deciding not to press assault charges. (Deadspin)

A woman in San Diego saw a guy accidentally DROP his pet Chihuahua on Monday morning . . . and that made her so ANGRY that she stabbed the guy in the thigh. He and the Chihuahua are both fine . . . but she was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. (San Diego Union-Tribune)

The CEO of a moving company heard about a new hire in Alabama who was willing to walk 20 MILES to make it to his first day of work on time last Friday. So the CEO drove from Tennessee to Alabama on Monday and gave him his car. (WBMA / NY Post)
