Senator Sue Serino stopped by to visit with us on Monday to let us know that May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month.
Sue explained that children are most at risk for contracting Lyme Disease. Awareness and prevention are key, so be sure to check yourselves, your children, and your pets for ticks each time you come in from outdoors. This is a serious problem, as you know, but the good news is Lyme Disease can be prevented!
