The sun came out just in time for the ribbon cutting and the beginning of the Annual Walk for Celiac which took place Sunday morning on the Walkway Over the Hudson. An enthusiastic crowd of all ages turned out to raise funds and awareness for this serious condition that effects so many.
This year we were joined by Sam and Tess from Crunch Fitness, who volunteered their time and expertise to lead everyone in a pre-walk warm-up.
As you can see, some of us were really in the warm-up spirit. (Don't judge me.)
Joining us again this year was Chef Coppedge from the CIA, who demonstrated baking a gluten-free devil's food cake. Suddenly you're thinking you could do with a little gluten-free devil's food cake right about now, right?
