Oddly enough, the Department of Public Works for New Orleans are JUST realizing that after last year's Mardi Gras celebration, the city's drains are OVERFLOWING with Mardi Gras beads!
They have found 46 TONS of beads in the clogged storm drains! Cleanup is costing the city $22-million-dollars! They need to learn from NYC and their amazing clean up after New Year's Eve!!!!
