Granted, it's not a BIG dragon, but I wouldn't want to be the one to tell him, would you? Not with his teeth so close to my ear. Anyway, this photo (which is not photoshopped) was taken a few years back at the Pet Stop Pet Shop. He was actually quite charming.
Appreciate a Dragon Day, for those of you unfamiliar with this major national holiday, is a day set aside to learn and explore the cultural and historic significance of dragons. It's also intended to be a prompt to encourage reading and literacy among people of all ages. Because who isn't interested in dragons?!
So, my suggestion would be, grab a copy of "The Reluctant Dragon," (my favorite dragon--clips available on YouTube--seriously, it's worth a look--you'll love it too), and enjoy a little bit of fact and (mostly) fantasy.
