There are so many wonderful people in this world! Many of them live right here in the Hudson Valley. Over the weekend, I received this photo and a nice note from our listener, Marcus Paroli from Hyde Park. It is a picture of the Christmas display he created at his home at 25 Quaker Hill Drive. He invites everyone to drive by and see it, and, if they'd like, to make a donation. All proceeds will benefit the Grace Smith House, the Hyde Park Food Bank, and the Dutchess County SPCA.
What strikes me about all of this is how everyone can extend a helping hand and some goodwill, just by doing something they love. Certainly, an effort like this takes more than determination and know-how--it takes a big heart! Thank you Marcus! And thanks for sending the picture and information.
