You know how Compassion and Generosity abound here in the Hudson Valley. Any opportunity to support each other when the going gets tough is never ignored.
So, in that spirit, Q92 will be hosting a Radiothon to benefit the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital on Monday, May 1 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During those hours you'll have a chance to meet many of the families of the children who receive or have received life-saving care at this outstanding facility right here in the Hudson Valley.
Michelle and I visited the Hospital a few weeks ago, and aside from the fact that there was some very serious healthcare going on, it seemed like a place you'd like to spend some time yourself, because the surroundings, the staff, and a general atmosphere of active hope and comfort permeated the whole place, start to finish. We felt uplifted and optimistic just having been there for that brief time.
So, tune in on Monday, May 1. Give what you can, and feel part of the satisfaction of knowing you are participating in the life-saving and loving mission of the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
