Michelle and I took the Show on the road yesterday morning, broadcasting from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Contact Breakfast at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, where details of the first ever Hudson Valley KidVenture were presented. Included in this family fun event will be a petting zoo, climbing wall, Touch-A-Truck, Super-Heroes, model train exhibits, kid-friendly demonstrations, food trucks and live music. Announcing all the details was Nick Shannon, Executive Director of the Chamber Foundation, pictured above on the far-left. Also in attendance, starting to my other side, was Dutchess County Executive, Marc Molinaro who gave the keynote address, Frank Castella Jr., President and CEO of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and, of course, our Lovely Michelle Taylor.
And here we have the Official Spokes-Kid, KidVentureCam. We'll be hearing more from this delightful young man in the weeks to come.
Michelle and I were happy to see our good friend, Regional Director of Corporate Citizenship at IBM, Sheila Appel, who is the Honorary Chairperson of KidVenture.
