Customers at Mid-Hudson Subaru overwhelmingly chose the Hudson Valley Hero Project to receive what turned out to be over $60,000 donated by Subaru in this year's "Share the Love" Event!
I was so pleased to emcee the ceremony when Peter Maher, owner of Mid-Hudson Subaru, presented the check to a VERY stunned Marc Coviello, who had no idea his organization was going to receive such a generous financial boost!
Marc, a Purple Heart combat veteran, after completing two tours of duty, returned and discovered how many active servicemen and women and retired local veterans were in need of assistance. He decided to do something about it, founding the Hudson Valley Hero Project and working selflessly and tirelessly to provide for the needs of those who have given so much in service to our country.
