Dutchess BOCES will be celebrating the completion of its “One Campus” Capital Project on Saturday, April 15 and the public is invited to tour the schools and visit a job fair after a ribbon cutting.
“We are looking forward to celebrating the project’s completion with our community,” said District Superintendent Jason B. Schetelick.
“It’s wonderful to have all of our schools and programs on one campus and we are grateful to the 13 Dutchess County school districts for their unwavering support through a challenging construction period during the COVID pandemic.”
The Dutchess BOCES Board of Trustees, the agency’s leadership, and students will cut a ceremonial ribbon at 9:30 a.m. at the new shared entrance for the Alternative High School and the Career and Technical Institute located at the back of the building. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. an expo and open houses will take place at all schools, including the Salt Point Center.
The Board of Trustees will also be holding its annual meeting and regular April meeting at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively. Both are open to the public. For more information, please see Expo Program
