Are you ready? Amazon Prime Day this year starts at 12 a.m. PT on Monday, July 15th and ends at 11:59p.m. PT on Tuesday, July 16th.
It's quite the extravaganza. Experts are even sharing some tips from money advisors to help us get the most out of this online 'holiday.'
Put stuff that you have your eye on in your cart now. That way you can reconsider buying them if the prices drop significantly.
Know your budget and make a plan. You don't want to cave to temptation and end up buying stuff you don't need just because it's a good deal price-wise.
Use a price checking website to see if the new offer is truly at a low. Here's one they suggest: www.CamelCamel.Camel.com It tracks the price history of items sold on Amazon.
Use the Amazon app and smart speaker because some deals may be exclusively offered through them.
If you're not already a Prime member, use the free trial offer. The annual membership fee is $119 per year but you can sign up for the free trial as long as you cancel it in time.
Shop around because some retailers are planning "deal days." For instance, Walmart has Google Week with discounts on smart products and Macy's is having July Black Friday.
Happy shopping and saving!
