So, when I married the husband, nine years ago today, I had a D.I.Y. wedding. I had a group of girlfriends who were my 'Bridal Committee', one even handmade my table runners! From creating my own centerpieces, ordering hundreds and hundreds of candles, I went on the hunt to find the ultimate ceremony site. I FOUND IT! It was under a tree at one of our state parks. See the arrow, that's where we gathered under this oak tree. The chairs were delivered, we set up mums, stakes for the isle and voila, we said 'I do'!!!
This past weekend, I was at 'our' state park and realized that they actually resurrected a permanent ceremony site!!! LOOK, so pretty and just to the right, do you see that tree with the thick trunk, that was 'our' tree! I'd like to think we inspired this!!
