Jen Roe, Executive Director of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce, visited Michelle and me in the studio to give us a preview of Sunday's Taste of New Paltz, which will take place between 11:00 and 5:00 at the Ulster County Fair Grounds in New Paltz.
Area restaurants are preparing their specialties, local farms and farm markets will feature freshly picked produce, and area wineries and breweries will be serving their very best. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Harvest Season which, despite the weather presently, really is here!
Parking is free, there are lots of activities for the children, and there will be free entertainment and live music. Admission at the gate is only $5, children under 12 are admitted for free. Attendees can purchase $3 to $5 "tastes" from the festival’s different food and drink vendors and vote in the "Best of the Taste" competition in three categories: Best Food Truck; Best Restaurant; and Best Winery/Distillery.
