Michael Bolton's spoofing one of his classic hits in a new TV ad campaign.
He's rebooted "How am I Supposed to Live With You" to fit the "Break Up With Your Brokerage" theme for Public.com.
The video targets Robinhood and the social media outrage that sprung from the company's now-criticized practice of payment for order flow (PFOF), in relation to the recent Gamestop scandal. Instead, Bolton recommends Public.com as a more ethical alternative. To prove he believes in the firm, he's now listed his own portfolio with them.
This marks Bolton's return to commercializing a past hit -- last year his version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" was pitching Panera Bread. (Billboard)
