CATSKILL COMMUNITY CENTER CONTINUES TO SERVE DURING COVID-19

Press Release from Catskill Community Center:

CATSKILL COMMUNITY CENTER CONTINUES TO SERVE

DURING COVID-19 MANDATED PRECAUTIONS

In these challenging and unprecedented times we collectively face the task of containing and reducing

the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

As an essential organization, Catskill Community Center continues to operate with limited hours and

service including as a pick up location for lunches for Catskill School District students and our

Wednesday afternoon food bank.

These are times of great need in our community and Catskill Community Center greatly appreciates the

donations of food or money that anyone can contribute to support our ongoing services. If you wish to

make a food donation, please call ahead to arrange a drop-off time.

Catskill Community Center is taking every precaution to ensure the safety of those availing themselves

of the Center’s services. We are practicing social distancing, limiting staff contact and cleaning and

disinfecting the entire Center on a regular basis.

Our office remains staffed for questions or requests for assistance on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and

Friday from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Our Food Pantry will distribute food packages on Wednesdays from

1:30-3:00 p.m., while the supply lasts. You can call us at 518-719-8244 or email the Center at

office@catskillcommunitycenter.org.

It is now more important than ever to offer support for our community and our neighbors. If you are

able to, we also encourage you to support our local businesses and restaurants all of whom are being

impacted by this global pandemic. These businesses have always supported our community and its

various charitable organizations. It is important that we support them now.

We encourage our community to come together with compassion and support for each other. Reach out

to each other through safe means. Offer to assist those that need it. We cannot allow fear to stop us

from helping those in need.

Be healthy and be safe. Be sure to take care of your neighbors in need. The Catskill Community Center is

here to support our community. We are all in this together.
