Cop Who Rear-Ended a Woman Was Watching a "Grand Theft Auto" YouTube Video

Player Tries To Master The Newly Released Grand Theft Auto IV

Distracted driving comes in many different forms . . .

A cop in Georgia was recently demoted after he crashed into the back of a woman's SUV at almost 70 miles per hour back in April. She wound up in a COMA for four weeks and is still struggling with the effects of the crash.

And after the police department investigated, they found out the officer was distracted at the time . . . because he was watching a YouTube video of someone playing a "Grand Theft Auto" video game.

No criminal charges have been filed against the officer . . . he just got a citation for following another car too closely.

The woman he hit says she's had more than $500,000 in medical bills from the crash and she still can't go back to work. Her attorney is talking with the county about a settlement.
