Prince William and Kate Middleton participated in a charity sailing race on Thursday (Aug. 8), but it was Princess Charlotte who was the real winner. The 4-year-old royal joined her parents, along with her older brother Prince George and maternal grandparents Carole and Mike Middleton, at the race. They watched their parents compete from a nearby boat - George even donned a captain's hat for the race - and cheered them on.
When the race was finished, the Duchess of Cambridge took her children to a window above the prize stage in order to wave to the crowd below. Kate got more than she bargained for with Charlotte, though, as the cheeky princess stuck her tongue out at the crowd instead. Luckily, the whole thing was caught on video. If Charlotte doesn't make you LOL, then Kate's reaction definitely will.
This isn't the first time Princess Charlotte has made headlines for being sassy. After Prince Louis' christening last year, the young royal told reporters they weren't invited to the reception while leaving the church. While accompanied by Prince William, the adorable little girl could be seen telling photographers “you’re not coming,” which made for quite the LOL moment.
Charlotte doesn't make too many public appearances with her parents yet, though she always makes them memorable when she does. We can't wait to see the next cheeky thing she does!
