Disney World Has Crazy Discounts For Teachers This Summer

Celebrities Visit Walt Disney World

Disney World has an awesome discount for teachers this summer. I mean, if anybody deserves an A+ summer vacation...it's definitely teachers, right? Well, Mickey Mouse sure seems to think so, anyway. Here's everything you need to know about this crazy good deal at the happiest place on Earth coming up for summer break.

According to Travel Pulse, seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will offer all teachers (and school support staff, too!) the "Teacher Appreciation Rate" for the upcoming summer months. So, what are these "Teacher Appreciation Rates?" Between May 27 and September 3 of 2019, teachers and school administrators in both the U.S. or Canada will be eligible for reduced rates at Disney Springs hotels. The precise reduced rates depend on which hotel you choose to stay at.

Rates of $75 per night are available the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, which is the best deal of the bunch. Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista is within walking distance of Disney Springs. The B Resort & Spa comes in a close second with rates of $89 per night. The rates at Holiday Inn Orlando are only $95 per night, while Best Western Lake Buena Vista charges $104 per night.

Teachers willing to splurge a little more on their hotel can also stay at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista for $116 a night, as well as the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace for $122 per night. The most expensive resort with the "Teacher Appreciation Rates", however, is the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando with rates of $129 per.

It's a great time to head down to Disney World, as well, with the imminent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. Toy Story Land in Disney Hollywood Studios recently opened, too. Sandals Resorts, CheapCaribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Lines are also offering travel deals for Teacher Appreciation Week.
