22nd Annual Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation Brunch Set for May 3
Hudson Valley, NY — The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is proud to announce its 22nd Annual Spring Brunch, taking place on Sunday, May 3 at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY. This highly anticipated event brings together community members, supporters, and advocates in a shared mission to fund critical programs supporting individuals affected by breast cancer throughout the Hudson Valley.
This year’s Brunch will feature guest speaker, Dr. Jessica Scott of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and formerly of NASA, who will share insights on the latest advancements in cancer care, survivorship, and wellness.
The event will offer a lively and engaging atmosphere with a variety of activities, including raffles, a silent auction, door prizes, and free giveaways. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in these offerings while supporting the Foundation’s ongoing initiatives.
"This year we are honoring some very special supporters: Debbie and Steve Domber/Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices; Ulster Savings Bank; and Superior Plus Propane," explained Miles of Hope Executive Director, Pari Forood.
A highlight of the afternoon will be the presentation of scholarship awards to local students whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. These scholarships reflect the Foundation’s continued commitment to education and community support.
The program will begin with a heartfelt Survivor’s Toast, honoring the strength, resilience, and courage of those who have faced breast cancer. All proceeds from the Brunch directly benefit local Hudson Valley programs, including financial assistance, support services, and educational outreach for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Thank you to major sponsors Nuvance/Northwell Health, The Canter Family Fund, Arnoff Moving and Storage, NBT Bank, Shelley & Steve Turk, and Ulster Savings Bank
