Hudson Valley-based improv troupe of women, femmes, and thems performs two shows at Newburgh Fringe Festival
Woman(ish), a generation-spanning improv team of women, femmes, and thems, is excited to star in two shows, titled “Newburgh State of Mind,” at the upcoming inaugural Newburgh Fringe Festival, taking place October 24-26, 2025, in Newburgh, NY
Woman(ish) is an improv troupe of women and nonbinary individuals from the Hudson Valley area, encompassing Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X. The troupe will perform two one-and-a-half-hour shows as part of the festival:

Woman(ish) shows combine unrehearsed true stories told by monologists and completely improvised scenes. The troupe formed earlier in 2025, launching with a sold-out show in Beacon during Women’s History Month. This will be their third and fourth shows.
All Woman(ish) shows are 100% produced, directed, and performed by women and nonbinary individuals.
