The Catskill Winter Solstice Stroll is coming next week! Thursday, Dec.21, from 6PM to 8PM, on Main St. in Catskill, NY.
Main St. will be closed to traffic and open for celebrating the joys of the season with our third annual Yuletide extravaganza. This year will have more entertainment than ever : the Pokingbrook Morris Dance team, the Catskills Comedy Pop-up Club, the dancing“Witches on the Hudson”, Catskill’s legendary blues singer Lex Gray, Victorian Strollers, The Second Baptist Church Youth Dancers, Catskill Mtn. String Band, bagpipers, ukulele band, holiday singalongs, and much more. Stores and restaurants will be open late and hosting a delightful array of activities for kids and adults. And the main feature, as always will be the twelve bonfires lining the center of Main St. where everyone is welcome to roast marshmallows and join in celebrating the Return of the Light.
