Guy Gets Hit by a Car …and Asked if His Beer Survived

This video is pretty nuts, but luckily the guy's okay. And his top concern after it happened is the stuff of legends . . .

Some guy in Tampa was walking out of a convenience store with beer on Tuesday. It's hard to tell, but it looks like a 12-pack. And just as he stepped through the door, he got hit by a CAR.

A 21-year-old woman was pulling into a parking spot in her Jeep, and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.

She crashed through the front of the store, and the guy got thrown about ten feet. There's security footage, and it looks like it knocked him out cold.  (Here's the video.)

Thankfully, he wasn't seriously injured. Paramedics took him to a hospital for cuts to his face from broken glass, and he's expected to recover.

But here's our favorite part: While they were treating him at the scene . . . he asked if the BEER he'd just bought survived the crash.  (???)

Cops described him as being in "unusually good spirits." So he may have just been trying to lighten the mood.

The woman who hit him could face reckless driving charges. It's not clear if the beer survived or not.
