The New Duct Tape Trend – Taping Unruly Airplane Passengers To Their Seats

If three times makes a trend, then taping unruly passengers to their airplane seats is ‘in’ right now.

In July, there was a story about a woman who tried to open the door of her airplane… last week we had the story of a man groping flight attendants… and now a 13-year-old boy has gotten the duct tape treatment.

The teenager allegedly threw a tantrum while flying from Maui to Los Angeles with his mother on Tuesday and tried to kick out one of the plane’s windows an hour into their flight.

Crew members restrained the teen and then – you guessed it - duct-taped him to his seat.

The plane was diverted to Honolulu where the boy was arrested.
