POUGHKEEPSIE – State Police have identified the man who jumped to his death from the Walkway Over the Hudson last Saturday evening as Brendan Paredes, 37, of Wappinger.
His body was recovered from the river a short time later by the Poughkeepsie City Fire Department.
When the call came out of a person who had jumped, several agencies responded to the scene including State and City Police, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Poughkeepsie Fire Department.
