Ulster County has high vaccination rate

KINGSTON – Ulster County has the highest rate of vaccinations in the region, County Executive Patrick Ryan announced.
As more and more people get the COVID-19 shots across the Hudson Valley, the county executive said Thursday that his county has a high rate of vaccinations.
“We are now 40.6 percent, over 40 percent of our residents in our county have received at least their first dose,” he said. “That actually makes us the highest percentage of residents vaccinated of any county between New York City and Albany.”
Ulster County has a mass vaccination center at the former Best Buy space in the Hudson Valley Mall and the state has a site at the county fairgrounds in New Paltz. In both situations, you will need to make a reservation online or by calling.
