NEWBURGH – Police in Newburgh are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a seven-year-old boy who was brought to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital on Wednesday morning.
City Police were notified by the hospital shortly after 8:30 a.m. that the child was brought there by private vehicle. He was not breathing, and emergency room staff could not resuscitate him.
This is an active investigation and City of Newburgh Police are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to call the detective division at 845-569-7509.
