Two hotels slated for Port Jervis

PORT JERVIS – The City of Port Jervis has become a tourist destination with its hiking and biking trails and its downtown renaissance.
Along with that the rebirth are development of two planned hotels said Mayor Kelly Decker.
“We have one right downtown that has passed the planning board stage and is ready for construction and in the midst of our annexation, one of the properties near I-84 that would come into the city plans on building a hotel there as well,” he said.
The downtown hotel near the promenade will include a rooftop bar, restaurant and a boutique hotel, said Decker. The other hotel is expected to be a national chain facility, he said.
