Breaking: Arrest made in latest Kingston shooting

KINGSTON – A 19-year-old Kingston man has been charged with first-degree assault in connection with Wednesday’s shooting of a 21-year-old Kingston man while he was walking on Elmendorf Street.
City Police arrested Jahsi Quiles on the assault charge as well as criminal possession of a weapon.
After the victim was shot, he ran to a friend’s house and was driven to Health Alliance Hospital and was later brought to Westchester Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing.
