Well, this is disturbing. A human skull was found in a fire pit in a Trenton, Michigan yard by the new owner of the home. It appears the home had been owned by the lateMark Eberly, who was recently killed in a shootout with police in Cumberland, Tennessee.
The new owners are working with investigators. Police say Eberly moved from the residence in the past few months. Neighbors say he had nightly fires in the fire pit before he moved away.
Investigators are working to make contact with a possible girlfriend of Eberly's who may have been living there at the time. Currently, it is not known if she is missing or worse. Obviously the investigation is continuing.
