Is writing a check to pay for anything a thing of the past? They say that despite the gradual decline in the use of checks, they're not completely extinct. Most keep their money in a checking account....some balance their checkbooks and now with technology, you can deposit a check into your account just by taking a photo with your phone.
I still pay some bills by check....and I have a checkbook handy just.in.case. Actually, I just wrote out two checks this past weekend.
