Saturday, May 16th

Town of Ulster

• Drugs:James F. Burton, 36, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:55 p.m. Friday, May 15, on Washington Avenue in the town and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Burton was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

Contraband in prison:Robert Dunn, 30, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 12:45 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Ulster Correctional Facility, 750 Berme Road, and was charged with the felony of possession of dangerous contraband in prison. Dunn, an inmate at the prison, was held and issued an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.

Sunday, May 17th

Catskill

DWI:Ann M. Corbett, 64, of Leeds, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:36 p.m. Saturday, May 16, following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 9W. She was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Plattekill

DWI:Leroy Jackson, 48, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:32 a.m. Sunday, May 17 and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop. He was issued an appearance ticket for Plattekill Town Court. Further information was unavailable.

Wawarsing

Drugs, theft:Caitlin M. Kirschner, 25, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at 7500 U.S. Route 209 and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny, both misdemeanors. She was issued tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
