While some divorces are amicable, others are far from it, and in some cases, former couples can be really, really awful to each other. Well, now some divorce lawyers are sharing some of the craziest things they’ve seen former spouses do to spite their exes, and it’s pretty shocking.
They include:
·One husband gorilla glued all of his ex’s belongings together, like the TV remote to the table, and even the oven mitts to the wall.
·When a husband was on a business trip, his ex-wife returned to the house turned on all the faucets, plugged the drains and turned off the furnace when it was 10 degrees out. When he came back the house was ruined.
·One husband registered as a “gambling addict” and pretended to go to the casino and lose money every day, all the while he was “squirreling” it away, so he could say he lost his money and wouldn’t have to pay his wife a penny.
·One woman took everything out of the house, including the carpets.
·A man found out his ex’s new boyfriend was allergic to cats so he got a cat for his kids, but wasn’t allowed to keep it in the apartment and sent it home with them.
·One couple spent hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting over a ceramic ashtray and when the wife won it in court, she walked out of the courtroom and smashed it in front of her ex.
