According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, in Poughkeepsie High School there is a member of the school's staff who tested positive for COVID-19.
The school's staff member is believed to have come into contact with 16 people. Each of these 16 people have been notified and guided to self quarantine, and to contact their doctor.
Superintendent Eric Rosser said that none of the 16 are students. Rosser also said that the employee was tested after being exposed outside of the school's, Poughkeepsie High School, community.
