Maybe your middle name is after your grandmother? Maybe it's a 'family name'? Your middle name can be cultural. Or....maybe you DON'T have a middle name?!!!
Going back to the 17th Century, the tradition of giving the newborn a middle name is still practice today. Sometimes you learn more about a person when you know their middle name. My grandson, his middle name is my husband's name, which is such an honor for the husband! Me....my parents were creative with my middle name, Elizabeth. My husband was NEVER given a middle name because he's a Junior.
