A Nationals Superfan, at 98, Will Finally See A World Series In D.C.

After being a lifelong baseball fan, at 98, Lorenzo Crowe is getting to see his dream come true: for the Washington Nationals to play in the World Series. His passion for the sport started when he was a shortstop for the Negro League’s Baltimore Elite Giants and has continued over the years. He attended the Senators games in D.C. and his age hasn’t stopped him from going to see almost every Nationals game played in Washington.

But the real thrill is coming when his team takes on the Astros in the World Series. Crowe has tickets to every game in Washington and he couldn’t be happier. "It feels like I waited my whole life just for this," he says. "If you had any idea how big a Nationals fan could be, I'm bigger."
