Before you head to take a dip into the Hudson, you may want to check out this article from The Poughkeepsie Journal that states where you should and probably shouldn't go swimming in the Hudson River.

Apparently the water in the Beacon Harbor, near the River Pool, tested well in comparison with other sites but there were other sites that did not meet EPA criteria!

"The Hudson River and its tributaries are the public's beach — and the public deserves clean water," Riverkeeper President Paul Gallay said. "That right is enshrined in the Clean Water Act, and it's our job to stop the pollution that too often makes the water unsafe for swimming."
